For sale is a pair of new ballistic plate rear dropouts. I'm not going to kid you. These are the strongest rear dropouts made. They're 1/4" thick ballistic plate that had to get CNC laser cut into shape. These dropouts need to be jigged accurately as cold setting is difficult. We constructed special dropout alignment tools that are 3' long and when we would try to cold set these dropouts the 3/8" grade 9 bolts that held the alignment bars in place on the dropouts would break. These are the exact dropouts that we used on our track tandems that were raced at the Athens Olympics and were multiple US National Championship winners. These are serious dropouts. The laser cutting has left a slightly rough finish on the edge that can be sanded smooth. While these are new they have a mill finish and may have little to no light surface rust or shop wear. Fabricated in the USA with USA made steel. An order of "1" gets you 2 dropouts.
