    WALTHER & SOHNE ~ Early Pair Art Deco Green Uranium Glass "Nymphen" Mermaid CANDLESTICKS ~ Germany
    Description of item...
    Here we have a beautiful early pair of Art Deco (single light) green satinized vaseline/green uranium glass "NYMPHEN" MERMAID CANDLESTICKS made by Walther & Sohne of Germany.
    Each measures approx. 8-1/2" high x 4" base square (taper hole 7/8" in diameter.) One is in excellent maintained (displayed/used) condition with no chips or cracks, no damage noted...the other one has a minor nick-chip on the end "tail" tip area (see close-up photo #7) which was only noticed by finger touch, hardly noticeable without close examination, nor offensive.
    Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown [NOTE: pictured in a 1934 catalogue.] These items weigh approx. 2-1/4 lbs., add 2-3/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
